The Excess Express Engineer is the Toad who controls the Excess Express in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Bub, one of the passengers on the train, wants to be an engineer when he grows up. If Mario gets an autograph from the engineer and gives it to Bub, he will receive a Shine Sprite.
