The Hover Craft, also spelled hovercraft[1] or Hovercraft,[2][3] is one of four vehicles that Funky Kong leases to Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! The Hover Craft appears to be made from a barrel, and it has a large, black floating tube on the bottom. The Hover Craft is an upgrade over the Motor Boat, being able to move on water faster and travel over rocks. The Hover Craft is not available to use at first because there is a hole in its tube that Funky can only fix with a patch, and the Hover Craft becomes available to use after giving the Patch to Funky. The Hover Craft is required to access the worlds Cotton Top Cove and Mekanos, the Brothers Bear location Bramble's Bungalow, and the secret cave, "Kong Cave". The Hovercraft is used by Baron K. Roolenstein in a brief scene of the true ending, where he uses it to try to escape from the Banana Queen. In the Game Boy Advance version, the Hover Craft is used in the "Protect" mission of the Funky's Rentals minigame.

Artwork of Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong in the Hover Craft appears on a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
