Uploading images

On the left hand side, under "tools" there should be a link called "upload file", you can upload images via that. Nightwicked Bowser 16:40, March 14, 2023 (EDT)

Does your laptop have a camera function? If so, you can select an image and choose to send it to your device, at which point you need to scan a QR code (it may take a few attempts). If your laptop can't do that, then I don't think it will be possible. Nightwicked Bowser 17:20, March 14, 2023 (EDT)

Hello, Luigi 1837. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must apply the proper license. A full list of licenses can be found in the file copyright tags category, but the following are the most common: {{game-screenshot}} - Used for game screenshots. {{game-sprite}} - Used for game sprites. {{game-3Drender}} - Used for game models. {{game-cover}} - Used for game box art. {{character-artwork}} - Used for artwork of a character. {{game-logo}} - Used for a game's logo. {{logo}} - Used for other logos. {{photo}} - Used for photographs of real-life subjects. {{art}} - Used for artwork of something that is not a character. {{comic-scene}} - Used for scans of a comic. {{comic-cover}} - Used for covers of comic books. {{tv-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of television shows. {{film-screenshot}} - Used for screenshots of movies. {{video-screenshot}} - Used for other screenshots, such as those from YouTube. {{dvd-cover}} - Used for box art of DVDs. {{vhs-cover}} - Used for box art of VHSes. {{album-cover}} - Used for box art of music albums. {{poster}} - Used for promotional posters. {{music-sample}} - Used for music files. {{sound-clip}} - Used for sound effects. {{video-clip}} - Used for video files. When uploading, select the license from the drop-down box below the summary text box, or add the license manually after uploading or if you're using the upload function from the text editor. For example, artwork of Mario would use {{character-artwork}}. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Don't include multiple copyright templates; choose the one that you feel best fits the file. If you continue uploading files without applying the correct license, then a warning will be issued. Hello, Luigi 1837. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

The image category links should be in square brackets only, not curly. After you add the square bracket link (which you've done correctly), the {{uncategorized}} part should be removed entirely.
