The Gravity Spotlight is a light that makes the player who passes it be affected by anti-gravity and let him walk on any solid object the spotlight is facing. Those lights are found only at the final galaxy of Super Mario Galaxy, Bowser's Galaxy Reactor. Some large Gravity Spotlights will carry Mario to another area/planet of this final galaxy. There's a total of 8 Spotlights, three anti-gravity Spotlights and five large Spotlights.
A Gravity Spotlight is a special light that shines on a wall or floor that makes the player who passes it have a drastic change of Gravity therefore either sucking the player up into it or pushing the player away therefore giving them the power to walk on walls. These lights are found in only one level (the very final one to be exact) of Super Mario Galaxy in Bowser's Galaxy Reactor's level The Fate of the Universe. In this level there are a total of eight spotlights, three of which will pull Mairo to the next Planet and five which will allow Mario (or Luigi) to walk on walls.
