Hexagon platforms are hexagon-shaped platforms that appear in Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, Mario Party 2, and Mario Party: The Top 100. A mushroom variety also exists that appear in Mario Party and Mario Party Superstars

Mario Party Series
Mario Party
Hexagon-shaped mushrooms appear in Mushroom Mix-Up. They appear in seven colours: yellow on the top left, cyan on the left, blue on the bottom left, pink on the bottom right, green on the right, red on the top right, and black in the middle.
Mario Party 2
In Hexagon Heat, hexagon platforms appear. They rise up and down. The colors of the hexagon platforms are identical to those of the hexagon mushrooms, except black is replaced with white.
Mario Party: The Top 100
Hexagon Heat reappears in this game, bringing the hexagon platforms with it. They appear in the following order: blue on the top left, pink on the left, yellow on the bottom left, red on the bottom right, cyan on the right, green on the top right, and white in the middle.
Mario Party Superstars
Mushroom Mix-Up returns in this game along with hexagon-shaped mushrooms. The order remains the same as in Mario Party, except blue is replaced by purple, while black is replaced by white.
