Flowers[1][2] are objects in Super Mario Galaxy 2. These flowers usually appear in levels where Mario or Luigi finds Yoshi, who uses them. Yoshi can use his tongue to grab a flower and swing from it. He can use many flowers in a row to reach higher areas. To use a flower, the player must point at one with the cursor from the Wii Remote and then press the button, so Yoshi attaches his tongue to the flower and swings from it. After swinging from a flower, Yoshi can flutter-jump.
