Template:Character-infobox Fava, also referred to as Old Bean[1], is a Beanish in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. He shares his name with a type of bean. Fava appears in the Yoshi Theater. Boddle tells the Mario Bros. to ask Fava about obtaining the Neon Eggs. The Mario Bros. locate him at the very back of the theater, sitting against the projection screen. Fava shows the Mario Bros. the method for obtaining Neon Eggs using his projector. He explains that they must first find the Bean Fruits located all over the Beanbean Kingdom and feed them to the Yoshis to get Neon Eggs.

Fava seems very old and wise and he has a tendency to say "perhaps". He is the younger brother of Beanbean Castle Town's oldest intellect, who also often says "perhaps".
