Roulette Coin Block
Roulette Coin Block

Roulette Coin Blocks[1] are golden, numbered Roulette Blocks first appearing in New Super Mario Bros. 2. When Mario hits one, coins will pop out in the amount shown on the block when it was hit, either in single coins or 10 Gold Coins. The numbers that appear are 5, 10, 30 and 50, with 50 appearing only once per interval. Larger versions also exist, which can give 10, 50, or 100 coins (as a Giant Coin). In the Rainbow Courses, normal-sized Roulette Coin Blocks only give 10, 30, or 50 coins.

They reappear in Super Mario Run in Remix 10, with the same function as before, only smaller and depicting coins instead of numbers. This time, they can give the player one coin, two coins, five coins, or ten coins, depending on when the block is hit.

Roulette Coin Blocks also appear infrequently in Yoshi's Crafted World in a few levels, typically granting one, five, ten, or twenty coins when hit.
