Mega Man is the protagonist of a famous video game series of the same name. He also made appearances in the Marioverse, however only in the Club Nintendo comics.

In 1992, he was introduced in "Super Mario: Die Bescherung". In this comic, he joins Mario and Luigi's Christmas party, without affecting the story in any way. His first major appearance was in the 1993 comic "Super Mario: Die Verwandlung", where he served as Dr. Light's assistant. Besides taking care of the doctor and welcoming his visitors, Mega Man also drives the car they use for catching Wario.
