Shiny Koopa Troopas are a rare species of Koopa Troopa that first appear in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. They look like normal red or green Koopas, except that they shimmer, similar to shiny stickers.
History

Shiny Green Koopas can be encountered in battle normally and attack faster, but a Shiny Red Koopa can only be fought if a Shiny Koopa Paratroopa has lost its wings. Shiny Red Koopas are stronger than Shiny Green Koopas but Shiny Red Koopas act like normal Koopa Troopas.
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
Template:Pjenemy Shiny Koopa Troopas reappear in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam as regular enemies. Unlike normal Paper Koopa Troopas, their stats are much stronger.
