*Dried Bloopers bear a resemblance to Blooey, one of Luigi's "partners" from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Glad Bloopers from Super Princess Peach.
*The Dried Blooper's brown coloration may be a reference to Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, where in that game, bloopers could exist out of water and could appear brown. This is due to them sharing the Goomba's color scheme, although their brown color made it seem as if they were brown due to them being dried-out and dehydrated, not unlike the Dried Blooper.
